PRIVATE CHEF FOR SHOOTING LODGE IN GEORGIA, USA

The Chace People team are looking for a seasoned Private Chef for our VVIP client's beautiful hunting estate in southwest Georgia. This is a traditional plantation and a private family home, with weekend shooting and private parties throughout the season, including family and their high profile guests.

As Private Chef for this beautiful lodge you will be:

• Cooking for the family and their guests when in residence; private weekend shooting parties, as well as Thanksgiving and Christmas 
• Ensuring a seamless & timely service of meals; breakfast, lunch and dinner 
• Provisioning and sourcing local ingredients
• Weekly menu planning with the principals and in line with any dietary requirements and specific guest requests  
• In charge of kitchen and all preparation areas' in regards to hygiene and health and safety 

A typical week may look like:

• Guests, usually between 6-12x pax will arrive Thursday for lunch and depart after lunch on Sunday
• Occasionally, the family will be in residence during week (there will be down time when the family are not in residence)

Room/Board:

• Cottage next to Lodge with private bedroom & ensuite bathroom, plus living room
• Board and vehicle provided
• WiFi and excellent cell coverage across the estate 

You will be well versed in both formal and informal event cooking, with hearty breakfasts, shooting picnics and formal, sit-down dinners required.

You will be a key team player, working alongside a permanent House Manager and a team of seasonal Housekeepers and Hosts.

This is a super rewarding, temporary opportunity for the right person and candidates from other states will be considered and flown in for the season, with the right to live and work in the USA. Interviews are taking place now for an October 2022 (at the latest) start, with the shooting season due to commence in November and wind down at the beginning of March.
