Oplu is a small, deliberately structured team. We take on fewer mandates than we could. We keep senior attention on every search. We hire slowly, and only for people who fit the way we work.

How we work

Oplu was founded in 2018 and rebranded from Chace People in April 2025. Antonia Edwards and Firat Bay, CFA, run the firm as Managing Directors. The wider team is kept intentionally small. Everyone inside Oplu touches client-facing work.

We recruit across three divisions: Family Offices, Private Households & Estates, and Luxury Brands & Hospitality. Every mandate we take is UHNW-facing. Every mandate is scoped and led by a Managing Director. No handoffs between desks. No juniors running senior searches. Our priority now is systems, structure and quality.

Who fits Oplu

We look for a specific profile across the team:

- Judgement before speed. You think before you send. You read the room before you talk.

- Discretion as a habit. You treat confidentiality as an operating discipline, not a disclaimer.

- Written clarity. Written profiles, scoped briefs and client updates are the core of what Oplu produces. You need to be able to write well.

- Ownership. You follow through without being chased. Detail sticks.

- Direct communication. No gossip. No drama. Calm delivery under pressure.

Prior experience in private client services, recruitment inside UHNW markets, luxury hospitality, family office operations, or adjacent high-trust industries usually translates well. A finance, law or operations background is useful for Family Office and Luxury Brands mandates. None of these are requirements. The traits above matter more than the CV.

Roles we typically hire for

When Oplu is hiring, roles sit across three broad areas:

- Search Consultants. Running full-cycle mandates across one of the three divisions. Client-facing from day one.

- Candidate Consultants. Leading candidate engagement, vetting, shortlisting and referencing.

- Resourcing and Operations. Supporting search delivery, pipeline development and internal systems.

We do not run a graduate programme. Every hire is expected to contribute to client delivery within weeks.
