  • Location: Travelling in Europe and the USA
  • Salary: Dependent on Experience
  • Contract: Fixed-term Contract | Full-time, Live-in
  • Contract Dates: Interviewing now; to start from mid-to-end June 2024 until end September
  • Additional: Preference for candidates with European/UK passports for ease of travel

Job Overview:

The Chace People team is seeking an experienced and dedicated Travelling Nanny for a young, ultra-high-net worth international family. This exciting and unique opportunity involves travelling with the family to various locations, starting in London, UK, moving through Europe and on to the USA; finishing your contract in the Middle East before returning home. Offering flexibility while traveling; on-call and working as part of a wider team is required. You will have down time and sufficient rest time.

This role requires a playful and communicative Nanny to take sole charge of a 1-year-old child who is currently in the exploration phase and achieving key milestones. The Nanny will be responsible for managing the child’s daily routine, including sleeping through the night and coordinating a midday nap, as well as adventurous family meals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dressing and bathing the child
  • Managing the child’s daily routine, including sleeping through the night and coordinating a midday nap
  • Weaning and overseeing meal times; trying new foods and managing a few allergies currently being explored
  • Managing the child’s schedule and activities
  • Nursery duties
  • Emphasising language and communication through play
  • Engaging in sensory and creative activities
  • Communicating effectively with parents, involving them in key aspects
  • Accompanying the family on travels for 3-4 months

Requirements:

  • Experience with Middle Eastern culture is highly desirable
  • Ability to adapt to a fully staffed household environment
  • Preference for European/UK passport holders for travel ease
  • Strong language and communication skills
  • Background in early childhood development and learning through play
