This is an exceptional opportunity to join a prominent entrepreneurial family as their Lead Nanny/Personal Assistant in Fort Lauderdale.
We are seeking an outstanding childcare professional to support the family, bringing together expertise in early years development with lifestyle management capabilities.
This is a new role at the heart of a growing household, working directly with both Principals. You'll lead the childcare function while providing PA/lifestyle support, managing a team of Nannies to ensure seamless family operations.
The family values a down-to-earth approach combined with the highest professional standards. With the children transitioning to preschool, this role offers the unique opportunity to shape a new childcare structure while supporting the family's extensive travel schedule.
Minimum 8 years' experience in private household childcare roles, ideally working with high-profile families who travel
Proven childcare expertise in preschool-age development, routines, and educational support
Experience managing or coordinating with other nannies and household staff
Valid passport and availability to travel extensively (up to 6 months annually)
Full, clean driving license and comfortable driving in Florida
Exceptional organizational skills with PA or Household Management experience
Calm under pressure, proactive, emotionally intelligent, and highly discreet
Professional demeanour with the flexibility to adapt to family needs
Based in, or willing to relocate to Fort Lauderdale area
Provide expert childcare for two children (pre-school age) including educational activities and developmental support
Coordinate with preschool schedules and support learning continuity
Manage and coordinate with a team of childcare professionals
Create and maintain childcare rotas and schedules, ensuring full coverage across 7 days
Handle family logistics including travel coordination, appointments, and scheduling
Provide household PA support including diary management and family administration
Liaise with household staff team to ensure smooth daily operations
Travel with the family to domestic and/or international destinations (generally 1-2 month periods)
Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality at all times
Monday-Friday with flexibility for travel throughout the year and some weekend/schedule variations.
