Service-Focused Housekeeper – Monaco (Live-Out)

Job Overview:

A high-profile Principal in Monaco is seeking an experienced and highly professional Housekeeper to join a team of three. The role centres around being present, proactive, and attentive, ensuring that high standards of service and cleanliness are consistently met. Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, the successful candidate will contribute to the team already in place, with duties including service, laundry, ironing, and general organisation, alongside personal requests from the Principal.

The Principal is typically in residence for approximately six months per year, with exact dates varying. During this time, full flexibility is expected. When the Principal is away, housekeepers are encouraged to take their holidays, keeping the property organised and ready for return with lighter daily responsibilities focused on upkeep and readiness.

Requirements:

Candidates without the following will not be considered.

  • Fluent English speaker (Turkish or Russian bilinguals preferred)
  • Fully eligible to work in Monaco or the EU
  • Experience working in a private household
  • Previous experience in Monaco or similar high-end environments
  • Pet-friendly and able to assist with occasional dog-related duties
  • Able to take all holidays during the Principal’s absence
  • Flexible to work weekends and irregular shifts as part of a rota
  • Service-first mindset
  • Strong work ethic, high standards, and attention to detail
  • Confident working without supervision; proactive and self-starting
  • Familiarity with Google Docs, Sheets, and basic tech tools

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve refreshments and respond promptly to any requests from the Principal
  • Represent the household with discretion, integrity, and a service-first mindset
  • Assist with errands, groceries, and basic household admin when needed
  • Ensure the household is always clean, organised, and ready to receive guests
  • Perform general and deep cleaning as part of the rota (not constant cleaning)
  • Manage laundry and ironing with precision
  • Maintain stock levels and household supplies
  • Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, work collaboratively with the other three housekeepers to deliver seamless support
