Live-in Housekeeper Chelsea Job

• £40,000+ gross p.a. (DOE)
• Permanent Contract
• 6 days a week | Including weekends
• Separate accommodation is provided, close to the main residence
• Family not in residence in the UK for 5 months of the year | Travel not required

The Chace People team is actively searching for a brilliant and active Housekeeper to join our VVIP client at their formally run, modern family household in Chelsea, London. 

This is a young family, with high standards and it is a busy household when they are in residence, which is reflected in your working schedule. The family travel for 5 months of the year however and thus their London team experience reduced hours and downtime during these periods. This is an ideal position for a Housekeeper who is a hard worker, but who equally enjoys extended periods of time off! 

We are looking for a confident candidate, with a positive attitude and someone who is highly detail-oriented, with a great command of the English language. Turkish language skills would be a bonus, but not a prerequisite. You shall be clear in your communication and will offer flexibility as required. As the ideal Housekeeper, you will be a team player with a sunny disposition, holding high cleaning standards and heaps of professionalism.

Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Detailed Housekeeping and Cleaning in all areas of the residence
• Intricate Laundry Care and Ironing
• Wardrobe Management

Working Schedule:

This is a full-time position where you will generally work 6 days a week, including weekends when the family are in residence, and you will be awarded with 1 day off during the week. Your hours will generally be between 8:30am and 8:30pm during weekdays, with an extended break in the middle of the day. Weekend hours will generally be 10am – 9pm, with flexibility required if the Principals are entertaining. 

This is a highly recommended position where you will be joining a wonderful existing team, with a Housekeeper/Cook, Nanny and a Driver already in place. You will have proven Private Household experience and a clear understanding of how ultra-high-net-worth households are run. Five-star hotel experience would also be beneficial.
