PRIVATE CHEF FOR VIP FAMILY ON THE EAST COAST, USA

• Up to $160,000 gross p.a. (DOE)
• West Palm Beach, Florida | Live-out
• Full working rights for USA
• To start no later than October 2023

This is a confidential position for a private VIP family in Florida. You will be working a 5-day week, alongside a second Chef and wider kitchen team.

You will be based at a fully staffed family home in West Palm Beach, Florida. This is a fixed term contract role with the ability to become permanent for the right person, starting by mid-October 2023. As Private Chef you will be preparing lunch and dinner for a family of six, as well catering for all events and dinner parties, and household staff.

The family likes simple, impeccably prepared food using fresh and organic ingredients sourced from the best suppliers. You will source the best, local (where possible) produce and build a consistent and high standard of contacts and suppliers, with constant assess to these options. The Principals are varied in their tastes and are open to ideas from their Chef for a variety of menus and new meals to try. You will also be cooking for children, so being family friendly and happy to adapt your menus if required is a must.

What can I expect?

• Menu planning and discussing weekly menus with the Principals
• Preparing lunch and dinner for the family
• Preparing all staff meals 
• Food shopping and ordering
• Stock control
• Cleaning and organising of fridges, store cupboards and kitchen equipment
• Daily clean down of kitchen to the highest of standards
