PRESS ASSISTANT TO THE FOUNDER & CEO OF FASHION PR & EVENTS AGENCY

The Chace People team is looking for a high energy, proactive and positive Press Assistant to support to the Account Executive and Account Manager in a growing Fashion PR & Events Agency based in London. Your role will involve assisting on the management and running of the showroom, overseeing the Showroom Assistant whilst focusing on showroom function, sample management, administration and client reporting.

Ideally, you’ll have experience of working in a similar, founder-led environment. This is a small, growing team, with a portfolio of exciting and long-standing high-profile clients within the fashion industry, both in the UK and across the US, so embodying the agency and becoming an ambassador for the company at all times is key.  

 

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Overseeing the running of and visually merchandising the showroom
  • Coordinating and overseeing all press requests on a daily basis, with the support of a Account Executive 
  • Manage interns and support senior team
  • Actioning client gifting initiatives, including research, liaising with the client and management from orders to delivery 
  • Constant liaison with press, both offline and online, to ensure regular coverage and identify upcoming opportunities
  • Monitoring coverage on a daily basis and inputting into analysis reports
  • Taking showroom appointments
  • Regularly monitoring all clients social media channels in order to feed and propose ideas
  • Supporting the team on all events by researching and documenting team ideas for upcoming internal and external events
  • Support on all agency events

 

What do I need in my toolbox?

  • Have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a Fashion PR role
  • Enthusiastic, self-confident and self-motivated
  • Work well under pressure with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbally and written)
  • Ability to work to deadlines with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and proactive attitude
  • A good overview of the fashion business/industry and knowledge of the UK media landscape and press contacts/influencers
  • Be familiar with the workings of all the major social media channels – specifically Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & Snapchat
