TEMPORARY PART-TIME NIGHT NANNY FOR LOVELY YOUNG FAMILY IN WEST LONDON

The Chace People team is searching for a superstar Night Nanny to join our lovely client for a new addition to their family at the beginning of 2023.

This is a young, professional family, who are looking for a temporary part-time Night Nanny for their first, newborn child, who will be 1 month old at the start of the contract. The Night Nanny will be expected to work for two to three nights per week (TBD), from 7pm until 7am with some flexibility for extra nights as required, for what will be a 2-6 month rolling contract. Successful candidates may be offered to stay on for more than 6 months, with the possibility of the role to change to full-time daily, depending on the availability of the employee.

As Night Nanny, you will be experienced in; feeding, sleep routines and sleep safety. As the ideal candidate you will be able to follow a routine, whilst working together with the parents to maintain the routine and will be able to advise should changes be needed. We are looking for someone with a lot of common sense, with a flexible and calm nature, as well as experience in similar positions.

The Night Nanny will share a room with the baby whilst working, with a new and comfortable sofa bed for her use, as well as feeding chair and a separate bathroom. The schedule and nights needed per week will be discussed upon successful application and candidates with Maternity Nurse training, a valid first aid qualification and an up-to-date DBS is a must.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Ensuring the safety and comfort of the child at all times and especially during the night (knowledge of safe sleep)
  • Preparing the baby’s bottle and helping with sterilising bottles
  • Supporting Mum with breastfeeding
  • Bathing and dressing the child
  • Changing nappies
  • Tidying up after the child and ensuring the child’s room is always clean and tidy
  • Soothing and comforting the child

This position will start at the beginning of February 2023; however our client is interviewing now!
