House Manager Job

EXCITING HOUSE MANAGER POSITION IN CENTRAL LONDON

We are looking for an incredible, superstar House Manager to join a lovely and relaxed, VIP household at a secondary residence in Central London.

This is a new role, so a great opportunity to pave the way for the new household in what will ideally be a long-term position from the employers’ perspective. The role calls for someone who is exceptionally detail oriented, and self-motivated, ideally coming from luxury hotels or super yachts, coupled with private household experience.

What will I be doing?

• Executive Housekeeping and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property at all times
• Wardrobe management and archiving of extensive seasonal collections, with knowledge of laundry, care of fine fabrics and dry cleaning
• Packing and unpacking
• Overseeing a Gardner and managing any external contractors
• Researching and negotiating contractors and projects within the household e.g. for maintenance
• Preparing and serving light refreshments (both food and drinks) and overseeing provisioning for the household; i.e. sourcing organic local produce
• Front of House service
• Managing deliveries and couriers and assisting with returns

Reporting to the Principal’s Executive Assistant and working as part of a wider, spread out service team. This position would suit someone self- assured, dedicated and service orientated. The ideal candidate will be tech savvy, competent with overseeing administration and correspondence for the household and with a high level of emotional intelligence.

This is a live-out position which will start from May 2022. You can expect to work Monday – Friday, with your hours generally being between 830am to 6.30pm with a degree of flexibility being required. There isn’t parking at the property, so the successful candidate will need to be able to commute to and from the property.

You can expect an interview process with both virtual and in-person meetings, before being invited to take part in a paid trial.
