House Manager Job

NEW ROLE FOR HOUSE MANAGER AT AMAZING VVIP FAMILY HOUSEHOLD IN GSTAAD

The Chace People team is actively looking for an experienced House Manager to join a new team at a VVIP family’s brand new, large and formally run residence in Gstaad.

The successful candidate must have a hands-on attitude and be comfortable helping out and supporting staff members in every department, whilst being able to make sure the household is run seamlessly and to an exacting standard.

You will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the property including:

• managing a small team of approx. 6 permanent staff, with seasonal staff as additional
• monitoring the property daily
• reporting any maintenance issues
• ensuring the property is visit ready for the travelling family at all times

As this is a new household the role will also include establishing household manuals and procedures and this is a great opportunity for a well versed House Manager to really make the most of their skills and to help build a strong, well managed team and introduce processes which can be rolled out for years to come.

You will have a flexible attitude, be able to think fast on your feet and you will be willing to learn new skills if needed. As the ideal candidate, you will have an upbeat and happy disposition, a flexible fast-paced work ethic, a discrete nature and a natural team player mentality.

This is a daily, live-in or live-out position working on a rota schedule over 5 days per week, which will be discussed with successful applicants. Live-in accommodation will be discussed upon successful application, including a generous salary (depending on experience) and package benefits.
