FREELANCE LARAVEL DEVELOPER FOR SPECIALIST STAFFING AGENCY

About the role

Chace People is looking for an experienced Freelance Laravel Developer to assist them to improve their current recruiting website CMS.

Their current CMS doesn't allow for specific customization and they are seeking advice on whether it’s best to improve the existing one or if it needs to be changed to a different CMS such as WordPress.

Tasks and Deliverables

• Improve CMS and suggest improvements to their current CMS moving forward.
• Impove the ability to change SEO relevant tags more easily on CMS (meta tags, alt tags, opengraphs).
• Add second and third languages to the website based on location.
• Make sure the API connection between the job board and the database is rock solid. Improve the existing one-way integration to 2-way integration.
• Change the server where the original website is currently hosted to a different to improve speed.
• Do some performance improvements on the original website.
• Replicate the current website with minor changes into a new domain for a sister business website based on the original one (same templates, small design adjustments).

Required Experience

• PHP
• Laravel
• Experience with API integrations

Nice to Have Experience

• WordPress or another well-known CMS
• Photoshop or similar design programs

Engagement Highlights

• This is a Full Time or Part Time commitment. Chace People is open to any of both commitments.
• The duration of the engagement likely to be less than 4 weeks.
• Chace People is open to the location but the talent needs to have a 2-3 hours minimum overlap to London Time Zone.
