Part Time Housekeeper/Cook Job

The Chace People team is actively searching for a brilliant and experienced Housekeeper/Cook to join a lovely young, professional couple, with a new-born baby and a young, well-behaved and fully trained dog in West London, with an early 2023 start!

This is a wonderful opportunity for a seasoned Housekeeper who is looking for part-time hours and for kind employers. Ideally you will have superb Private Household experience and a clear understanding of how households are run. Candidates with experience of working with young children are also very desireable and although no specific Nanny duties will be expected of you, someone who can help Mum whilst on maternity leave would be a huge bonus.

We are looking for a confident candidate, with a positive attitude who is highly detail oriented and with a great command of the English language. This is a part-time position where you will generally work Monday to Friday, with hours approx. between 9am-2pm.

You will be performing all usual Housekeeper duties, as well as to cook and prepare light healthy meals daily and to take care of laundry and ironing. The family doesn’t need a chef, but someone who will make nutritious healthy food for the Principals and for the baby in future when moving onto weaning.

Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Detailed housekeeping
• Laundry and ironing
• Making and changing the beds
• Any errands (dry cleaning, food shopping, post etc.)
• Light healthy cooking (breakfast and lunch - some preparation for supper)
• Pet care; feeding, a short daily walk and keeping dog bed clean and tidy
