Nanny Job in South West London

• Salary: Up to £70,000 gross p.a. (DOE)

Join an extraordinary professional, young family in South West London as their dedicated Nanny. We're seeking a highly competent and educationally inclined individual to nurture and care for a curious toddler, and to support Mum with a new baby. You'll also lend a hand in maintaining household operations alongside a Housekeeper/Nanny already in situ. 

What Makes You Stand Out:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in private households and in a similar role.
• Exceptional, verifiable references.
• A proven knack for working with children in their early years.
• A full, clean driving license is a plus but not mandatory.
• Candidates with a degree in Early Years Education are highly desirable, but not a prerequisite.

Your Role:

• Oversee all nursery duties, create engaging educational activities, and ensure developmental milestones are met.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals for the child, and for the family as required.
• Accompanying the toddler to relevant activities and classes.
• Working with the Housekeeper to assist with light housekeeping duties such as laundry, tidying, and upkeep when the child is at nursery, and to deputise for your colleague when she is not working.
• Occasional international travel and frequent babysitting will be part of the role.

You'll have the autonomy to spearhead the child’s daily routine, allowing the parents to be involved as much as possible around their busy working schedules. Longevity is key; the family is seeking someone willing to commit and become an integral part of their lives. Supporting your colleague and deputising in her absence, you will be flexible and happy to collaborate around the home, taking on housekeeping duties. You can expect your day to start at approx. 12pm and to finish around 8.30pm (Monday-Friday) - these hours are subject to discussion and change depending on whether you are live-in, or live-out. Flexibility is required for 8 hours to be covered on Saturdays and for occasional babysitting.
