The Chace People team is seeking a passionate and strategic Marketing & Events Manager for our amazing client’s new farm and retreat based in the South West of England. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a new, exciting company with the aim of becoming a market leader within their sector.

The Retreat

The farm and retreat sits in a stunning position, with truly breath-taking coastal and countryside views including a vineyard overlooking the ocean. This is a 100 acre patch of earth that celebrates regenerative and sustainable ways of working. Our client’s vision is to create a place of simple beauty which encourages calmness, curiosity and connectivity with nature, yourself and others.

The farm and retreat is a place to make happy memories with loved ones and a renewed connection with nature is encouraged and nurtured through activities, food, experiences, reflection and time away from busy life.

The Role

As a key member of the team, you will be integral to the development of the brand’s legacy, ensuring it continues to unfold and sit amongst the UK's best retreats. It is essential that the successful candidate not only believes in and upholds the company’s ethos, but is also an ambassador for these values.

As the successful candidate you will be experienced with in-house marketing and event planning, working with agencies when necessary. Being able to think and plan strategically is key. As the brand and the retreat grow you will also be responsible for creating brand labelling and materials for new wellbeing products. You will be responsible for identifying and finding key and aligned brands for collaboration and partnerships. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating the marketing and events yearly plan, including; marketing strategy, events management, PR, social, project management and agency management. This role would perfectly suit someone with a passion for wellness and sustainability, who is happy to take on all aspects of a marketing and events role.

Requirements

• Marketing and Communications Degree
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a marketing management role
• Working with PR, design and marketing agencies
• Social Media planning and management
• Events planning
• Project Management
• Experience of the following would be advantageous but not essential:
  - Script writing
  - Video editing
  - Content creation
  - Photoshop
  - Illustrator
  - InDesign
  - MailChimp
  - Word Press
• Branding experience
• Brochure creation
• Ability to commute/relocate to Dorset
