  • Belgravia, London
  • Salary: £200- £300 per day | Depending on experience
  • Schedule: 6 days a week | Monday to Saturday, 8am-5pm

Chace People is actively looking for a top Chef to step in for the holiday season with our lovely VVIP client in Belgravia, while their permanent Chef is on annual leave.

You will be cooking for two young family members, for breakfast, lunch and dinner over 6 days per week and will be required to cook mainly healthy European food. When the full family is in residence (this is yet to be confirmed for the holidays) you will be required to cook a repertoire of cuisine including Middle Eastern, European, Indian and delicious dishes suitable for children. You will be joining an existing live-in, full-time House Manager and a live-out, full-time Housekeeper, both of whom will assist with front of house service, leaving the Chef to manage the kitchen! You will be a team player who fits in seamlessly to create a productive and happy working environment.

Generally, your hours will be from 8am-5pm, Monday-Saturday (with some flexibility over the holidays) and when the full family is in town you will be required to offer full flexibility with longer working hours.

Your duties and responsibilities:

  • Providing all in-house meals and snacks for family members, guests, house staff and travelling employees
  • Procuring all kitchen provisions, equipment and foodstuffs, using authorised suppliers
  • Responsible for kitchen health & safety and food hygiene by HACCP and COSHH legislations
  • Ensuring all areas are kept to the strictest cleanliness
  • Carrying out reasonable additional tasks as requested by the House Manager
